The Brailliant BI X series is one of the most connected and smart refreshable braille display to date. The new X series starts the journey of an intuitive continuation of KeySoft, “KeySoft LITE” HumanWare’s flagship accessibility suite giving you the tools to be more productive on a refreshable braille display.
The Brailliant BI X series introduces two braille displays, Brailliant BI 40X and BI20X and with some slight hardware difference.
Both, however, have the benefit to instantly download books and resources from participating online libraries such as Bookshare, NLS bard and NFB Newsline making it one the most convenient braille displays to access digital content.
- Ergonomically positioned thumb keys, cursor routing keys above each Braille cell.
- Brailliant BI 40X only : 3 intuitive command keys located on each side of the Braille display (6 in total)
- Introducing the latest Bluetooth 5 connectivity for a more robust, and reliable connection. (Brailliant BI 40X only)
- Onboard WiFi for direct download from online libraries such as Bookshare, NFB Newsline and NLS BARD

The new Brailliant BI X series braille displays provide large amounts of Braille and productivity applications in a compact design for efficient use. The Brailliant BI X series comes in two different models:
- Brailliant BI 20X with Braille input keys and 20 cells of high quality Braille.
- Brailliant BI 40X with Braille input keys and 40 cells of high quality Braille.
