HumanWare is pleased to announce that its braille displays have been certified through Microsoft’s Designed for Surface (DFS) program, ensuring a consistent experience with Microsoft’s Surface.

Indeed, recent enhancements to the Windows 11 Narrator now support a wider range of braille displays, including three 20-cell and 40-cell braille displays from HumanWare designed for Surface. Switching from Narrator to other screen readers while using a braille display is now a seamless experience. This crucial feature means that the Narrator can interact effortlessly with accessible accessories allowing people who are blind to use Windows with ease.
